CapriSun & Honest Kids Drink Pouches
Wallace Elementary participates in a recycling initiative that will pay the school. Save your Capri Sun and other brand drink pouches (Kool Aid, Honest Kids or store brand) and send them to the collection box in the cafeteria. For every pouch collected, the school will earn $0.02! That might not seem like much, but think about all the Capri Suns you've seen consumed at soccer games and birthday parties or sent in your child's lunch, etc. Collect them and send them in to benefit Wallace Elementary!
Please remove the straw and flatten the pouch so that all the liquid has been removed. It is helpful if you collect 10 pouches and paper clip or rubber band them togehter (but not required). Send them to school with your student and remind them to drop them off in the collection box located in the cafeteria.
Recycle for Generations
Cell phones, inkjet cartridges, laptops, ipods, digital cameras, laser cartridges, GPS devices, PDAs, DVDs, video games & consoles....Drop these items off at Wallace for the CFK (Cartridges for KidsŪ) is a recycling program that pays schools and non-profit organizations CA$H for these items that can be recycled. Items are collected year-round. Learn More.
