PAC - Parent Advisory Council

Created in 1981 by the RISD Board of Trustees, the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) offers RISD parents and guardians an opportunity to present district-wide issues to the Superintendent, top administrators, and representatives of the Board of Trustees. PAC meetings are designed to address topics of concerns that are of district-wide interest. PAC membership is limited to one elected representative from each school in the district and one representative from each early childhood PTA in the RISD Council of PTAs.

PAC will hold a minimum of three meetings per year. The PAC Chairman shall serve as a non-voting, ex-officio member of the RISD Council of PTAs' executive board.
