Wallace Traffic Duties

SETUP

1. Arrive between 7:15 & 7:30 am

- No later than 7:30

2. Go into the building through the 6^th Grade Doors

- The Basket should be just inside the door

(If it is not, go to the office and tell them that you need it. It is in the gym in the center closet)

3. Bring the basket with cones out to the edge of the driveway
4. Set 3 large cones up at the corner

- This will help keep people from turning left. (This is where you stand)

- Place the cones on the WHITE X’s in the street.

5. Set 2 small cones up in the nearest Teacher Parking lot entrance
6. After taking the cart to the gym please stop by the office and sign your time in on the volunteer sheet.

The safety patrol will start coming around 7:30, and they will know where to go.

At 8:10, pick up the cones that you put out, and wheel the basket back up through the 6^th grade door and into the Gym.

Your Job

1. Wave and smile
2. Don’t allow cars to turn left into the driveway
3. Keep cars moving as much as possible (when cars start backing up on the right hand side of driveway attempt to get cars to go on the left hand side)
