Area(s) You Would Like to Help WithArts in Education: Assist with Pumpkin Parade. Assist with check-in and/or hanging entries for the Reflections Art Fair
Carnival: Serve on a committee or help with set-up and/or clean-up for our Spring carnival
Class STAR: Student and Tutors Achieving Success - Reading with students 30 to 60 minutes a week
Classroom Helper: Help needed with class parties, bringing refreshments, going on field trips, making phone calls, stuffing Wednesday folders, helping the teacher in the classroom, etc
Clothes Closet: Volunteer at RISD Clothes Closet (one-time or monthly).
Dad’s Club: Assist with Morning Traffic (moms can help too), Clean up Day, Provide Muffins for Moms and Muffins.
Fundraisers: Assist with Fall Fundraiser by checking orders, counting money, and/or distributing orders on pick-up day. Assist with other fundraisers throughout the year.
Health & Youth Protection: Help with Red Ribbon Week Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Awareness and Prevention Program.
HOOPS IN THE HIGHLANDS: Our annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Help with the March 24th event by serving on the committee or helping the day of the event.
Hospitality/Teacher Appreciation: Assist in preparing and/or serving food, decorating, or serving on a committee for various events that occur throughout the year for our teachers and our school.
Math Club: Volunteers needed to lead the Math Club.
PTA Meeting Flag Ceremony: Let us know if your Boy Scout or Girl Scout Troop can help
Secret Pals: Interested in surprising a teacher on a monthly basis with a token of thanks?
Spirit Store: Help sell spirit items at PTA meetings and functions throughout the year.
Sunshine Committee: Help prepare meals for families that have an illness, new baby or death in the family.
Taste of Wallace: Prepare food for or dress in cultural attire for our annual Multi-Cultural Festival.
Talent Show: Help with development of program and/or supervise rehearsals
Taste Test: Volunteers needed to participate in our annual taste test on October 10th. Money raised from this event will go to our 5th Grade Outdoor Education Program.
Vision/Hearing Screen: Assist school nurse with performing vision/hearing screens.
Wallace Bookfair: Help with the Annual Book Fair. Morning and afternoon shifts available
